Problem with brakes
This morning when I was driving to work the ABD light suddenly came on, but fortunately it was near my parking area. However when I picked up the car after work I started the car but realise I have no brake. I couldn't shift into gear and I notice there is no brake light when I step on it. What could be the problem? Any help is much appreciated. My car is still at the parking lot.....

The first thing I'd do is confirm the brake fluid level in the reserviour. Might be something as simple as an MC problem.
After that, its time to have someone scan the car with the Bosch Hammer and read the fault codes. With the ABD light on, I'd be looking at either a wheel speed sensor issue or controller problems.

Thanks Steve, you are always a great help. I have my mechanic come down to check it out and realise the brake switch behind the brake pedal was broken and need to be replace. The switch control the gear shift lock and thats the reason why I wasn't able to shift and of cause, no brake light. Don't know about the ABD light yet but I will take your advice to run the hammer over it.
