Default Speaker wiring help

As part of an interior refresh I am installing RS door cards. My car has the HiFi option and I want to Install speakers into the new door cards while keeping the original head unit and amp. The new speakers came with a wiring harness supposedly for the 993, however they look nothing like the speaker harness that remains in the door. Does anyone know if there is a plug and play solution that avoids cutting into the harness in the door?

Thanks

May be had to find. If you wish to preserve the existing wiring harness consider clip on splice connectors where the old connector is retained but not used.

The premium system is bi-amplified. Do you plan to do this with your upgrade?
Also most any modern power amp in conjunction with basic coxial door speakers will outshine the original system. The original system was based on sound acoustic theory in its day but is grossly under powered and had none or an inadequate digital signal processor (DSP) to compensate for poor base response. A new amp with >75W RMS equivalent / channel and maybe adding a DSP may be the way to go.

So I figured this out and thought that I would share.
The connectors for the door speakers with HiFi are actually a BMW part!
I tracked down the part # for the male connector and ordered a few from a local dealer (part #s below). The cheaper of the 2 is the proper connector for speaker wiring. I connected them to the harnes that came with the speakers and the fit perfectly into the connector in the door.
