If there are 7 of you restaurant reservations are a must if eating out. Book as far in advance as possible.

If you have general admission passes I would buy a parking ticket ( I think it's about $80) save everyone a longer walk or trying to get on a shuttle with 7 people.

The house is on 14th Street and we have four day flag room passes. Thanks for the info, we'll read it all and digest.

The flag room passes come with parking so your good on that. 14th is about 12 miles or 30 minutes depending on traffic getting into the track. We are staying about a mile away at a house.

Specific to Pacific Grove, we like Passionfish for a great meal out, Red House Cafe for breakfast, Mando's for Mexican.

Eduardo mentions the following which I would put high on the list: Monterey Aquarium, Nephente in Big Sur for lunch and they will take a reservation for 7 but the drive in a van hmm, and Baja Cantina on Thursday night (will be a zoo though).

As far as PG food: don't overlook Peppers for Mexican food and Crema for breakfast ( Crema also has a full cafe downstairs for the best coffee in PG)

My buddy Brad and I have Flagroom tix, Corral pass and are staying at the Hyatt Del Monte (excellent location). He's flying to Bend, OR from Dallas and is driving down and back with me. Unless he scores on his latest target...whence he would drive out. Can't wait. Retired now, and will be able to FULLY enjoy and not keep one eye on business!
