Purchase help in Cincinnati
Anyone able to eyeball a car for me and suggest a place for a ppi? From the archives I found MetalKraft Coachwerkes and Brian Copans. The first sounds like a body shop. Are they the top choices besides Northland? Thanks,
Greg

Greg,
Northland is a great place. metalcraft is more of a restoration shop, not a repair facility. Another place I've heard good thins about is Farler motorsports. I don't know their phone # but I've heard good things about them. If the seller is willing to go up to Dayton(south side)
two great shops are Stuttgart Automotive(937-435-4541) and The Garaj. Stuttgart does all of the maintence on my 930 and 944. I know first hand that they do excellent work. The Garaj is about
10min across town and they maintain numerous 993 turbos and one of the few 959's in the U.S. I think their website is www.thegaraj.com but I'm not sure. I'd be happy to go have a look at the car for you. Hope this helps.

For a PPI, I would look at either of the dealers or Farler Motorsports (former head technician at Northland). Brian Copans is a great mechanic and would probably help you out but I talked to his wife today and he is swamped and would probably just recommend you to someone else.

I'm with Pete! Stuttgart Automotive in Centerville, Ohio is the best! I've done business with Ray there for over 14 years. Never have I been dissapointed in any way. He tells it like it is. He did a complete engine rebuild on a 1978 911SC for me, now he does all my work on my '96 targa. I can't say enough about how meticulous he is. Good luck.

Greg,
I'd second, third, etc, all the PPI recommendations above. Also, if you're looking for a set of eyeballs mine I'd volunteer. Where did you find the car? I stop in on various dealers when I get the chance, so I may have already seen the car. If not, I'm always up for an excuse for a visit. Let me know.
