Hi Wayne,

I bought a "small" silver badge form pelicanparts.com three months ago. It seems to me that is not an original equipment. I don't like its finishing and color.

Do you carry "original" silver hood badge?

Regards,

Is a package deal bargain price with both the wheel crests and the hood badge in the works?

Hey Randy and Steve..!

Yes I'll be starting a "new thread" when I'm set - but it'll be worth the wait - I think...

Best to you!!

Ataman,

There is no genuine silver/coloured crest from Porsche, all the ones out there are genuine gold crest's, either 356 or 911 hood badges, that have been chrome plated over the gold, all done perfectly by Boothe Design...

FYI - From an email I received from RTB...

One point I forgot to make, is Porsche makes these for me. I do not make them and I could not make them legally. Regards, Ralph T. Boothe
John D. - what's your timeframe? My wife has informed me that Santa is on his way...

Hey Guys..!

Thanks for your patience and support!! OK - I called Ralph Thursday - and sent an e-mail again yesterday on prices/packages/etc... I know he's really busy as well - so I should hear something back again soon (maybe this weekend?).. As soon as I have firm pricing and product delivery/availability, I'll post back, OK??

Thanks again!!!!

On Time,

The best way to get the crest off the hood is leave it in a car park where young bored kids hang out, they will get it off in No Time at all!!!!

John,

Darn. I had just bought my silver hood badge at the dealer a few weeks earlier. I paid $90+ (and then tax in CA) so total was close to a "C" note. Sounds like your offering them a great price! Can't wait to hear what else Santa has in store for us...

On Time - 911Pervy is correct...but there is a less expensive option. The hood badge is affixed with two 8mm (or 7mm) nuts. If you look under your hood you will see two opening and the nuts above them...a 1/4 drive socket with an extension should do the trick. Also, when you install the new badge use new nuts and don't torque the nut down until it doesn't move...they don't work that way as they are single use only.
