I sold this car a looooong time ago, but I've also had surflex on the panels of my old 911 for about 15 years now. It's understandably a little duller now, but still not faded or cracking or peeling off... It's a really good product, if the surface is prepped well, like everything really...

Wow, that post brings back memories :-) I've owned a 356A, 2 boxsters, a cayman S and a 996 since I sold this :-)

Mark,

I'm in the process of doing the door and quarter panels right now, and the surflex is working great, but everything I've done so far is either leather or vinyl. The door pulls and the door pocket lids appear to be rubber or maybe plastic. They certainly aren't vinyl or leather, and I'm not sure how the Surflex would work on them. I'm wondering if I should buy black ones and sell the beige ones.
