Question Tiptronic shifting question

It is my understanding that a tiptronic will recognize a driving pattern and develop shifting patterns accordingly.

If this is the case, is this constantly adjusted? If not, is this something that can be re-programmed by a new owner (me)?

Thanks for the help

From my understanding, it is constantly adjusted.

The transmission can use 5 gear changing maps, between eco to sport. The changing points are shifted to the higher or lower engine speed ranges, depending on the way the car is driven.
