Bob,

Great shots, it looks like it was an excellent evening. I can pretty much smell the rubber and feel the ground trembling beneath all that horse power.

Yes, great shots indeed, Bob! It must have been great fun to be a part of it. Keep us posted, especially if/when the 993TT figures in.

Man I'm still on such a high Bob! That was something else. Once again thanks to everyone's favorite Bay Area Porschephile Having Kevin, Stephen, Bob and my wife all-together like that felt like a race team (not that I know what a race team feels like) and I think we did pretty well together and suprised a few. I'll always remember it and as I told Bob, it really was too bad his car didn't make it. As far as previous gen's go his would have done some serious damadge around the track I fear black 993TTs and if I ever see one in my rear view mirror on the track I'm pulling well the hell over.

It was truly a great time by all. We could have not done it with out the help of Bob either. He stepped up to the plate in such a way...I am still speechless. Projects like these are very stressful and fast moving, he hung in there the entire time. Thank you again for all your help Bob....

The event, funny Bill I said several times I have a 930 we should bring down to harass everyone with...

Sounds like it was a blast!

Alex, I hope you can make a BAR drive soon now that the car is sorted. It'll be fun to try to keep up with you. And also, let me mention your exquisite taste in wheels.

Hi Pete,

I'll gladly come along, I've missed out on so many of those drives lately I really want to show up the same time as Bob so we have to loud/obnoixious black Turbos hehe. Everytime I have gone he hasn't been there and visa versa.

Thanks for the kind words about the wheels. Kevin/Stephen and I had to come up with a plan to accomodate the new big brakes and yet still use 18s for better tire. They turned around a set in no time and we're very pleased with the results. For people with larger brakes we're going to make sure they perfect a few small glitches first...

Stephen - if you do one of these in CA again let me know. I know the EFI 930 you just did probably makes more power, but it would be really interesting to see how my CIS-based car, with iits mild suspension mods and stock brakes would do. A track like Buttonwillow would be a very good track for it I think. All that low end torque would come in handy and the fact that I top out at 475 HP at 5200 RPM would probably not be a detriment like it would at the really fast tracks like Willow Springs.

Do you think that someone would have dared call the yellow monster a grocery getter? I've been showing my pals your videos btw. Sometimes friends that don't own Porsches ask me who ImagineAuto is and I just say here, let me show you...

Maybe because it was a cold grey day and she was probably covered in muck of some sort?
