Post C4 vs. C4S

I'm considering buying a 1995 or 1996 C4 or C4s. I should add that I live in the Boston area, and my plan is to drive this car year-round (with a good set of snow tires in the winter).

1) How practical is it to think I could drive a C4 or C4S year-round?

2) How reliable are these cars?

3) What issues should I consider before taking the plunge to buy one of these cars?

Welcome to the board! Lots of good questions here...that have been discussed quite a few times in the past. Try checking the FAQ at the top of the page. Then, use the search feature for questions that haven't been answered by the FAQ.

There is so much info in the archives. You'll step outside and smell real air in about three weeks.

Quick answers for you:

1) Very.

2) Pretty damn reliable.

3) Varioram or not? Wider body or not? Full leather or not? '96 and on have OBDII, 95's have OBDI and fewer check engine light issues. Aftermarket mods or not? Low miles or not? Etc, etc. It goes on and on.

Good luck.
