I am taking an informal opinion poll as to whether we should partition Porsche to change the "Check Engine Light" to a "Check Wallet Light". We could replace the many and confusing fault codes with just a few:

<$ 500 hardly ever comes up

<$ 1,000 not so bad

<$ 5,000 rather common

<$10,000 trouble

>$10,000 sell you children, get a second job

What do you think?

I have been calling it the S.O.B. light for the last year now, as whenever it pops on that is what I say.
