just thought i'd give everyone an update. Throttle body increased h.p. by 5-6 on the gtech (three runs). However, i did it at the same time as adding the RSR mufflers - so who knows which one really did it.
unfortunately i still have the whistle problem and it is driving me crazy. I have the sound when the accelerator is applied at 5-25% WOT. That happens to be right where you drive a lot on the street as you are often just maintaining a speed. With that said I will likely remove the throttle body as I just can't stand the sound. It would work on a track car but for a street car - I don't recommend it. Perhaps that's why porsche didn't do it.

Hi Boris, I'm sorry to hear this mod didn't work, but thanks for keeping us updated. Too bad about the whistling - definitely an unacceptable side-effect.
I wonder why it whistled....air flow through the new chamber, or leaking thru the butterfly valve - interesting....
