Default throttle body h.p. update

just thought i'd give everyone an update. Throttle body increased h.p. by 5-6 on the gtech (three runs). However, i did it at the same time as adding the RSR mufflers - so who knows which one really did it.

unfortunately i still have the whistle problem and it is driving me crazy. I have the sound when the accelerator is applied at 5-25% WOT. That happens to be right where you drive a lot on the street as you are often just maintaining a speed. With that said I will likely remove the throttle body as I just can't stand the sound. It would work on a track car but for a street car - I don't recommend it. Perhaps that's why porsche didn't do it.

cheers,
boris

Hi Boris, I'm sorry to hear this mod didn't work, but thanks for keeping us updated. Too bad about the whistling - definitely an unacceptable side-effect.

I wonder why it whistled....air flow through the new chamber, or leaking thru the butterfly valve - interesting....
