Charlie,

No its a NB, however I got asked on the day if it was a WB and my mate who know's it is a NB just commented how wide it looks. Very strange how the camera can lie. It could be a combination of the deeper side skirts/lowered susp and 18 inch alloys.

GREAT pics!!
The jutter (tech term) you get through the steering while on the brakes is more than likely your ABS getting a workout. Your car looks great and at home!

Chris, interestingly I was getting the "jutter" at times when the brakes were not being applied, weird eh?

Hey Poon,

Great pics - and a terrific looking 993!!!

Could I ask - what are you running for tires on the track???

Also - great comments about checking the wheel bearings and brake pads. I'd also throw in to look at your rotors, as what you don't feel on the street is terrible on the track - a warped rotor being one of those things. Another thing - if you pull your pads - LOOK CLOSELY at the old ones - they can tell you what is going on many times!! Be sure they are wearing evenly top-to-bottom. If a caliper piston is slightly sticking - or a plate is hanging the pad, it will not fully engage the pad to the rotor, and "judder" as well.

Poon - great pics.... Thanks for posting them.

your car does look awesome! Nothing better than a lowered 993 with nice set of 18's filling up the fenders... Just beware...Your sliperry slope HAS begun!

Poon,

Awesome pics! Did you drive the entire Grand Prix layout? Silverstone is an awesome track. The Becketts' complex (esses after the pits) and Priary (sp) are incredible sections. You are a very fortunate person!

Kim-I have track experience in other cars and did take and instructor out for 4 laps, however this was on my third run as all the instructors were pre-booked.

John-thanks for the advice, will probably book the car in for a check over, might get my clutch RS'd at the same time.

Danny & Rich- thanks, I love the pics too. Oh and yes we got to drive the entire circuit. Awesome

Poon - your car at Silverstone looks great. Looks like the photographer knew what he or she was doing.

Don't forget to leave your foot off of the brakes when you come in and are sitting still and to not use the parking brake since you can warp your rotors with the excess heat.
