Correct tire pressure?
The thread "drivers worst nightmare" now has me concerned! I drove my car for a week (maybe 50 miles), with a rear left tire pressure of 27 psi. Should i now be concerned about the possibility of my tire failing the next time i'm running 100mph+?
In addition, I'm running 235/35 zr 19's in front and 265/30 zr 19's in the rear. The tires say 51 psi max pressure. What pressure should i run, every day, around town? Thanks

Also, check inside of your driver-side door. There should be a small plaque listing recommended tire sizes and pressure. My tires were low by about 10psi per the recommendation, and bringing them up to specs made a great difference in driveability.

Philip, just in case you missed it, there has been a good dose of sarcasm in this thread, perhaps because it has been beaten to death many times.
The message is really that having gone for non-standard wheel and tyre sizes, you are more or less on your own deciding the best pressures. You don't indicate usage, road quality either. Rough guess would be 36F 38R cold, to err on the side of not bending your rims - if you're tracking, about 38-40 hot. Otherwise find out what the RUFs run with their 19s.
But seeing you only do 50 miles a week, perhaps buy a Porsche bike with the optional 32" wheels, leave the car at home .......
Cheers, Maurice
