FINALLY got my '96 C4 Cab!!!
Hi All,
Well, after waiting 5 WEEKS for an international wire transfer from the UK, I was able to take delivery of my Black 1996 Carrera 4 Cabriolet on Tuesday.
My wife and I also passed our CA driving tests yesterday - me with 8 errors, her with only 2
Thanks to all who offered advice and encouragement on the PPI/purchase process/etc etc etc.

Pat - usually it'll be posted here. However, you need to subscribe to Yahoo groups - Bay Area Rennlist. Once you do that, all emails from Rennlisters on BAR will be forwarded to you. So that's where we determine when and where we do the drives. I'm not sure how to sign up. I'm sure one of the other guys knows.

Congrats Pat, and WELCOME to the 1996 C4 Cab club. We're an exclusive bunch and glad you're with us. What colors and options do you have? LET'S HEAR MORE! If you haven't already, look at the option list (on the front trunk lid underside) and check out the list of options that's online somewhere. (sorry don't have the url but it's posted here all the time so a search will find it) I learned some interesting stuff about my car that way.

alright pat!
i'll be it's nice to be behind the wheel of a p_car again.
any adjustment problems to driving on the other side of the road & shifting w/ the opposite hand?? i know in the uk i had near mental break downs when i had to make a turn @ an intersection.
here's to plenty fun times in the new cab!!! congrats.
