Anyone run bump rubbers?
I was wondering what bump rubbers, or bump stops, you on aftermarket dampers (shocks)? The PSS-9 kit doesn't come with any, so does bilstein expect you to put the stock ones on the new dampers? I bottomed out the suspension today (with no bump rubbers) so hopefully no harm was done.

The kind of bump stop I think you are referring to fits around the piston shaft of the shock or strut. This kind will only come into play if the damper can be compressed to the point where the piston can bottom out inside the cylinder. If your suspension is set up where the damper cannot bottom out before the spring is fully compressed, or some other mechanical stop engages, then the bump stop isn't needed.
On the other hand, if your suspension is set up where the travel of the damper piston is the first limiting factor then it is in danger of being damaged if you bottom out (bent piston rod, or damaged cylinder) and the bump stops are a good idea.
