I guess we shouldn't bitch Randall. Just think of how very few people are fortunate enough to live near PCH....naw, I'll continue to bitch. I just don't like that unmuffeled sound. It hurts my ears. I'll just have plug my ears when the bikers go by and hope that the sight of the Pacific Ocean can calm my nerves, that and a shot of Jack Daniels.

Isn't there an expression, "loud pipes save lives?" Some bikers will tell you they want to make damn sure you hear them when they're coming up behind you, ready to pass. Then again, I don't really want to hear them at 3 am, either :-)

OK, since we are drifting way off topic here anyway, how is this for motor sound?

Music to my ears

Mpeg file ~8MB.

Link to thread with NICE pictures

Found it while surfing the off topic threads.

VJD,
That makes sense! I never thought of that. Even if it ends up annoying everyone at least it does serve some purpose.

Great "noise" music to my ears...aural beauty may well be in the ears (brain) of the listener/ beholder!

They noticed that my eyes were red and i havent had any sleep because i have been up all night checking my tire pressure just to make sure it doesnt drop half a psi. I ate my turkey in the garage with my new tire.

By the way just for everyone to know, im very pleased with customer service from W.E.
Just to recap, I ended up buying a rim and a tire from W.E. because i got a flat due to low tire pressure and bent the rim.

Moral of the story, keep an eye out on your tire pressure so it wont rip apart on you.

Thanks to everyones responses.

Shant,

There is part of this I am not sure I understand. Your original post sounds like you lost pressure but then drove it home. Is that right?

There are certainly lots of folks with absolutely nothing to do today, yesterday too. I know that is true in my case...you know an issue is truly moot when..................fill in the blanks.

Yes. The perfect fill would be like this:

I was driving home and on the freeway all of the sudden my tire popped. I immediately pull over (barely made it) and call Chevron to tow my car back home. I had no idea if i lost pressure in the tire but presumably i did. It could have been from the patch that i had gotten?
Anyways, my baby is back to terrorize the roads again

You need to learn to terrorize the track, Shant, before you terrorize roads. :-)

Come on up to Infineon (formerly Sears Point) on Dec. 8-9, or if that's too far, Laguna Seca in March and/or Buttonwillow in April. If you've never driven on a track, or gone for a ride with a really experienced and skilled track driver, it will be a revelation!
