Post Torsional rigidity

Does anyone have the torsional rigidity figures for the pre-964 911, the 964, the 993 and the 996? I'm mostly interested in the numbers for the Coupes, but I'm curious about the differences among Coupe, Targa and Cab also, within each series. I seem to recall when the 993 was introduced that Porsche claimed a 20% improvement in torsional rigidity over the 964, but I could be wrong. Does anyone know? Does anyone know the improvement in the 964 over the earlier cars? The 996 improvement <img border="0" alt="[icon107]" title="" src="graemlins/icon107.gif" /> over the 993?

I can't be of much help, but the 2002+ 996's claim a 25% increase in torsional rigidity over the 1999-2001 996.

Todd,

Sorry, I can't be of much help either except that I can confirm that Paul Frere's book did indeed mention a 20% increase in rigidity of the 993 over the 964.
