New 997 Crash Test Pics!
Hello all,
I don't think these have been posted before and thought you might be interested in seeing.
Long time lurker here. Like you all I love the 993. But am not yet in the position to buy one yet do to a new member of the family coming in Feb..
If you're like me you think the 993 was the pinnacle of Porsche design and that the 996 is missing those character traits found in older porsches. Like, doors that go 'thunk' when you close them. Winshield wipers set on the drivers side, curvaceous body, bank vault build quality that feels like it will last for years..
I'm still holding out for a 993 or 997 (probably lease a 1 yr old model) if they correct the little things that seem wrong w/the 996.
Ok, enough nostalgia, here they are. Still looks like a narrow body though?? The other spy pics have more pronounced fenders...
