Got home today. Get out of the car to open the garage. Talk a bit with my neighbour. Then I try to open the car door and it is locked. The engine was running the whole time. The talk with the neighbour took about 1-2 min. So I'm standing there with my car locked, engine running and all my keys, wallet etc. inside the car. CAlled my wife and she came home early from work and unlocked the house door so that I could get spare key to open car.

My 96 C2 will mysteriously lock itself at times as well. Call it playing with my mind. Just do not shut the car door with keys in it!

 

Happened to me once while I was pumping gas, motor off. Lucky I always take the key out, but this should not happen. I agree, mind of its own, although the manual does somewhat explain it.
