Default My wife is telling me I have problem, I think she may be right?

My problem is I can't seem to stick with one style of wheel(s) for long.

It was this time last year I thought I bought my forever set of wheels, 19" BBS LM's. I was wrong, I'm now onto a set of 18" Fuchs. Don't get me wrong the LM's looked and performed great, I had them custom painted (two tone black) and machined to use accommodate stock (77mm) Porsche center caps. As nice as the LM's were I always loved the look of black Fuchs on a white 993, hopefully this will be the last wheel I buy because I have to admit, it is getting a bit ridiculous.

The black LMs are a bit too much (blackness if that makes sense). I really like the look of Fuchs on a white 993!

not a problem, a disorder

I currently have 4 sets of wheels for one car, and looking at 2 other sets

honestly, if I drove more and could wear down the tires I'd change wheels every week

Techarts, MY02's, Twists, Gemballa's

rinse & repeat, that's part of the appeal of the 911, they take wheels well

You may wish to buy tires for the new wheels.

I think changing the wheels ever so often is not so bad ,good way to keep it fresh ,now if you were buying new cars every six months or so then yeah thats a problem ...Bert

Tis better to change wheels than wives (and cheaper) - it is all relative!

You may have a point but if I were to total up what I've spent on wheels I could have at least put down a respectable down payment on a new car.

While it may not be the most financially sound approach she needs to understand you're just trying to nail down a certain look. The previous wheels have some value to you can recoup some money there too.

I like where you're going with this. Based on the ductail and side script it maybe just the right wheels to tie it all in together.

I went through almost $15k of wheels before I found the right ones for me. I did sell one set and recoup most of my money. I held on to one of the others so I could switch between 15" and 17".

I'm in total agreement though that it's easier to switch wheels than cars.

19" wheels are a bit over whelming I find on 993s. The proportions of the 993 and the 19" dont go.
