Wanted: Widebody tip with less than 40,000 miles

As much as I wish a 993S Tip was worth nearly six figures (I own one), doesn't the price you paid just a few weeks ago tell you anything??
Actually, I hope you get your price. My '97 widebody Tip is nearly perfect and has only 43,000 miles.

Here's one that's pretty darn close: https://cprclassic.com/porsche911/2298/
It'll also help create a datapoint for the Tip discount. It's a '98 C2S with miles around 44k. If it was a MT, price likely would exceed $100k. Asking $81k "OBO."
No affiliation.

Thanks...that car sold for $70k after being advertised in the mid $70’s for at least a year. Another Rennlister looked at it for me and I passed.

For a close comp, a 98 C2S tip w/55kmiles sold for $51K Dec 2016. (RL'r drb930 posted it in the price tracking thread)

Three very recent comps:
97 C2S tip w/ 86k sold in the high 50s
97 C2 tip w/ 40k sold for 53k on BaT after buyers fees
97 C2S tip w/ 60k sold for 57k on eBay
An older comp from 2016: 95 C2 tip w/ 40k sold for $63k after buyers fees
Based on the above, I feel pretty competitive in my pricing.

No not at all...thanks Unique. Unfortunately, the car has a lien on it, so I am not comfortable doing a long distance deal with that hurdle...

Regarding the BaT car... Not my business, but what is the difference with seller not having title immediately? If he had title, you'd have to send money and trust he will sign the title to you. The only difference is he has to jump through the hoop of getting the title signed to him first. Right? Just curious...

My driver pays for the car at the time of pick-up and takes the title. No car and title...no payment. I enquired about a car a few years ago and the seller’s bank said that it can take 2 weeks to get the title. Being in a different ountry, i don’t feel comfortable with that arrangement.
