Smile May be drifting away...

My 993 will be up for sale soon, and I have purchased a 2004 GT3. I have been on this Forum for many years and met lots of great knowledgable people. Let's hope I will encounter the same on the GT3/GT2 Board.

I'll be lurking until the 993 is sold, ad to be up in a couple of weeks. I have had the 993 for 17 1/2 years, had no intention of ever parting with her, but this GT3 stole my heart. And only 10,000 miles + ceramic brakes...and a few other goodies such as a one off BBO custom 1/2 cage, and white, I love white cars.

Wow. Congrats, looks like an amazing car! That being said, I can't imagine the 993 board without you. Best of luck with the new ride!

I feel at home in my 993 but do love the 6GT3.

Nice to have both.

Good luck!

Martin,

I saw you had inked the deal from your posts on the 996 GT3 board. Congrats! Sorry to see you go since you are the last of the regular, "old-timers" like me.

Default In retrospect...

I'll still be around; I don't think I can stop a "habit" that is, at least 1X a day checking out the 993 Board....then off to the GT3 Board.

I will miss the 993...17 1/2 years with the same car, tough to forget that kind of bond.

So many great people on the 993 Board and I have learned so much from my peers...

Thanks to all for the kind words...now off to the task of unloading the car. I can do that. I'll post up some pics later this week.

Good luck my friend! I'd say if you could swing it keep both. A 993 and a Mezger GT car complement each other really well.

Congrats Martin! Look forward to hearing more about the evolution of the GT3.

I enjoyed following your 993 build over the years.

I have a soft spot for 993s and love how solid they are, but the 996 GT3 is the best driving Porsche that I have ever driven. Congrats!

Agree 100%. Hard to pick a favorite between these.
