I am looking to replace the shifter, boot and handbrake lever in my '95 993. I have a cedar green interior and the boot and lever match and I think that black would look much better. Has anyone purchased these products from Performance Products?
Their prices seem very reasonable. I am not looking for anything fancy but I do want quality. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

gert at http://www.carnewal.com sells an aluminum and leather covered handbrake lever and a leather boot shifting ****/handle that looks great. You could order the leather portions of both in black, and you would be installing Porsche parts. I don't know what Performance Products is selling.
The shifing lever is found on the 996 cars...I have one and think it looks great. The handbrake lever is something I want to acquire in the future, in addition tom changing the color of my seat belts....all from Gert

You could also check with Parts Heaven in in Bay Area or LA Porsche Dismantlers.

Gert of carnewal.com(NA) have some real nice matching sets. although a little bit on the pricey side. "I think", the one from perf products, you have to reuse your top-shift-pattern cap. On their new catalog, they took off the 993 as one of the -fit- matches.
