Feels like in 911 terms, the 991 is around for such a short while. Especially if 992's are 2019 models. But I guess it does fit in with the general generational length. I remember when the 991 came out, Porsche said they built the platform to be able to go 10 years on the market, but perhaps the rush to the new modular platform changed that.

what's up with the dual vs quad exhaust tips in the regular (ie non TURBO) 992 mules ?
dual: https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-wIYgB8gus.../w980/open.jpg
quad: https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-mCa-NJfD8...r-spied-11.jpg
and the electric plug like bung sticking out of the passenger rear fender: https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-veZFrxPZe...bo-Mule-13.jpg
as the bung is on the TURBO turbo mule, perhaps the TURBO is getting 918 like electrification?

Love how wide it is. If that is not the Turbo, then how wide will the Turbo/S be? Nice...
Now if Porsche could just work on that tail light design. Hopeful for something like this:

I expect a similar scenario for the 992. Announcement in late 2018, production begins around January 2019, first production sold as 2020 models.
Gives a three model year run for the 991.2. Not unusual for Porsche.
