There is still a lot of disguise taping around the rear end. I’m reserving judgement until we see the fully finished article unveiled.

Damn, Porsche still hasn't figured out a way to make lower profile rear screen wiper. It really stands out in the 992. But I do love the new fuch wheel rims

To me the basic uncluttered lines of the 991 are hard to beat. Everything added since it showed up looks like an "add-on", so it is a hard act to follow from an aesthetic point of view. I can understand the corporate marketing objectives- moving to straighter lines (hood and rear lighting). But they seem not needed on 911s- the basic shape IS Porsche. Enough of it rubs off on the rest of the clan. Still, I can appreciate the functional aspects of larger intakes for the front radiators, the vents to extract heat and air at the back, and the improved aero of the larger spoiler (which I like far better than a wing on a street car). The larger fender flares, front and rear, on the other hand, look good enough to make the sale.

Burning Brakes
I don't hate it. In fact, some of it I REALLY like. However; I will also admit that there were styling elements on my 991 that I preferred over this 992.
I will for sure go look in person.

Not too bad,....coming along a bit......
Too much black plastic at back (fixed if painted option still available).
Too much black plastic in front,.....991.1/.2 better integrated with driving light. Looks like Porsche cheaped out a bit here or got lazy.
Black stalk on side mirrors still look horrid. Bring on the sport designs please.
Third brake light still bad.
Like the big hips and the wheels on the blue car. Rear lights looking a little better.

Although I would prefer more separation from the Panamera, it's still a good looking car. I bet it looks better in person as well.

i am getting a 2019 Carmine red GTS and definitely don’t like all that black plastic with the red.
looks decent with black exterior but might feel cheap.
i think the value of the 991s just went up 😬😬

In any event, not long now until we finally see the real thing.

Agreed on both counts. Fuchs-inspired wheels look awesome. I would not order the rear wiper in a million years though!
