Default All 992 coding options in spreadsheet, collected from forum threads

Hi all,

I compiled a spreadsheet with all 992 coding options I could find in the forums here: 992_Coding_Options-CommunityEdits.xlsx

This is as accurate as I could be but there could be mistakes. Please make additions and edits. I'd also welcome help maintaining this if anyone is willing.

( Original, unedited, read-only copy for future reference: 992_Coding_Options.xlsx )

EDIT 4/23: Also attaching file here so it's on Rennlist's CDN. I don't think it can be edited, though. If you have edits, you can make them on the link above. It's an .xlsx file (open in Excel)

Amazing. And thank you. But are these coding options for the 992.1 or both 992.1 and 992.2?

Ok, the obvious question, what tools does one use to code the vehicle?
I've used ross tech/vcds previously on my audi's and i was able to do some limited coding on my panamera and cayenne. I will have to attempt with the T when it arrives.

No. For starters, I'm generally against stickying threads. Important/useful threads tend to float up top as long as they stay relevant. For reference data like this, SEO will draw people to it -- case in point, if you google "992 coding options" this thread is already the very first result. If this becomes some kind of "DIY" thread with reference data, then we can clone the thread into the DIY section -- but that will require the next points to be addressed:

The file is hosted on onedrive and is, apparently, editable by anyone? I'm not clicking a onedrive link to check that, sorry.

Stickying something that can be modified by anyone is a no-go, not to mention it's not on Rennlist's CDN.

Having had a couple of Touaregs, VCDS was The Bible and it allowed me to mod a whole host of stuff. However the libraries and data structures are totally different in Porsche-land (of course) so I'm surprised you were even able to get the vehicle recognized by VCDS.

You need relevant Porsche analyzers (PIWIS, Launch, Autel...).

I'm happy to move it to Rennlist's CDN. I'll see if I can do that.
It's an .xlsx file, btw, nothing harmful. I'm a rennlist member, btw, not looking to do anything malicious.

Mostly 992.1 but good point, I can edit the file to clarify this.
