Default PCM No Phone, Nav, Anything 992.2

Ok got in car started engine up, CarPlay started then died in about 10 seconds. No car internet, no CarPlay, nav no longer working, no phone connection. Basically anything to do with Bluetooth or WiFi is dead. Texted service tech and said this has started happening to more vehicles. I mean wtf!, got rid of the 2020 Taycan Turbo due to all the issues, now on a Oct delivery of a 2026 992.2 GTS.

Anyone else out there this happened to?

Just give it a day.
It'll probably be fine by tomorrow.
I get so many customers freaking out when they get in their car and they get the "Porsche" logo with the loading wheel.
They give it a few hours and the car is happy as can be.

Solid advice. It's a good thing the overwhelming majority of owners are not tightly wound, high-strung and/or particular

You obliviously never owned a Taycan…… BTW tech says there is currently no known fix but I’m on the list.

This might be worth a shot: put it in “sleep” mode overnight. Press the lock button on the keyfob 3 times. After the 3rd press the parking lights will give a longer blink, indicating sleep mode. Store the key at least 20 feet away from the car so the key doesn’t wake it up.

This cleared a stuck minor parking sensor on mine. If you’ve got some stuck update it might help. Low effort to try at least.

So tech says 3 2026 hybrid 992 this week with same issue. Appears Porsche pushed out an update that broke everything, no fix is available as of yet.

2026 992.2 here and I can't connect to CarPlay from any phone. thought it was due to older IOS, but no. tried a brand new phone as well, no luck, even after factory-resetting PCM. It's annoying that I can't even connect via the USB cable. Or can I?

Nope, SOL…you can play music using usb cable to iPhone but that’s about it. Nav somewhat works but forget about any realtime info

You only have to press the remote lock button twice to get the longer blink of the parking lights. It denotes that interior monitoring has been disabled. Sleep mode after the 3rd press. Maybe, maybe not. Press the lock and unlock button on the remote at the same and it disables the remote, you can store it wherever you want and it can’t be cloned.

Still a skeptic, I see.
