Yeah, I get what you're saying but past experience with the 997 C2S Bose left me really pissed-off that the sound was THAT bad in such an expensive ride. The H-K in my wife's Mini sounded a whole lot better - not even close.

BTW, something that many people don't realize is that a non-linear response in a sound system results in people turning it up too loud, and risking hearing damage. The better a system's response is, the better you can hear things, even in a high-noise environment.

Given that the buckets now fold and heat...a no brainer. Do not give up the big fuel tank. That's the most reasonably priced and amazing option Porsche offers. Too bad they moved it down from 23.7 to 22.1 with the .2.

Agreed.

So, the fully weight-focused build with leather would be this:

Price is starting to creep up to divorce territory.......

Love that you moved to the green. Something you won't regret. Personally, I think the CF blade wheels are a bit of a gimmick. Plus, imagine the cost to fix or replace! I'd save money there but I'm way biased to the RS wheels on the green. Totally understand if you don't want to clean them. I just think they are the only acceptable option in terms of style given what's available on the T. You could take the savings and have them refinished in a gold to wrap up the exterior look w the green.

This is a common response from people who don’t have the Burmester in their 911 and don’t see the value for themselves in spending more money over the Bose. The Burmester absolutely is a better system and you can hear the difference in a 911. It’s a joy to listen to music on long road trips with the Burmester.

I never hear ringing issues after an hour on the highway, so not sure what you’re referring to there.

I’m not sure what he’s referring to either. I’ve done an 8 hour round trip in my car - in LWB’s - driving from Vegas to San Diego and back, and I really can’t fathom what he’s talking about.

I thin we need to get to the bottom of this sound system dilemma. @FullThrottle64 are you a Mozart aficionado or a Swiftie? If you've got access to European quality roads and like to glide along, windows up, in full Requiem, go with the Burmeister. If you're gonna be blasting Love Story windows down over potholed hell...go Bose!
