Default My matrix headlights no longer switch to full beam.

Hi everyone,
I'm having a strange thing with my 992.2 GTS C4.
A few days ago, while driving on a fast mixed road at night, I noticed that my matrix headlights, in automatic mode, wouldn't raise to full beam, even when there were no cars in front.
Previously, in similar situations, the road was beautifully illuminated.
Has anyone had the same problem?
If so, how did you solve it?
Thanks

Is your car dirty, specifically by your rear view mirror area where the cameras are?

No, I'd say definitely not. I always keep my windshield clean.
And anyway, if it were dirty, it would probably keep the headlights on high beam even when there's a car in front.
In my case, the headlights don't go up to high beam even if there's no one in front. Don't you think?

From my experience, when it’s set to auto and it’s dirty, it’s conservative and usually won’t go to high beams; better to be stuck in low than high when the sensor/cam isn’t reading well for Porsche’s sake I guess.

This is probably obvious but if there are any street lights, on coming traffic, and sometimes road signs, high beam won’t auto come on. It’s looking for any high contrast point lights.

Will high beams work if you manually turn on and off?

And - just to cover all bases - are you sure you didn't accidentally turn the auto high beam feature off (I've done it).......................

Are you telling me that you can activate or deactivate automatic high beams from the "vehicle" menu?
Because in that case I'll definitely check it out.

it’s also with your light stalk. I’m going off memory but I think you push the light stalk away from you to active/desctivate. You should see an “A” inside the headlight symbol when active.

Correct!
But I'm referring to a situation where the headlight icon with the A inside on the dashboard is lit and blue.

Are you saying it’s lit and blue but no high beams come on?

Exactly,
if there's an A inside the blue icon and there's no one in front of me, the automatic high beams now don't activate.
Previously, on the same highway, and under the same conditions, they activated.

If I recall correctly if the low beams are on and the auto feature is enabled the icon is green with an A inside. If the high beams are on and the auto feature is enabled the icon is blue with an A inside. If the icon is blue the high beams should be on.

yup that is correct.

Green light with A: auto high beam feature on but high beams are in the off state and waiting for the right conditions for high beams to be on.

Blue light with A: auto high beam feature on and high beams on. Conditions are right for high beams on.
