Default gts floormats

Quick question. My car came with the rubber floor mats (i'm guessing maybe a gift from my dealer or are they standard??) and I got the interior gts package and so have the GTS floormats also. Curious which you guys would use? I've always used the rubber floormats...but I'm guessing the carpet mats would give a little more sense of occasion. Didn't know if it would be better to just preserve the GTS mats since I'm not sure if I can get replacements. Thoughts?

Use both. If you’re driving in inclement weather, use the rubber mats. Use the carpeted mats otherwise.

I’ve always preferred oem rubber mats. Easy to know when they’re dirty and easy to clean.

I have: The original OEM Carpets, OEM Rubber Mats, WeatherTech Mats and a set of Coco Mats.
  • The OEM Carpets are in the box the WeatherTech mats came in. They'll remain there unless or until I sell the car.
  • The OEM Rubber Mats are my daily winter mats in Southern California (such harsh weather we have here).
  • The WeatherTech Floor Mats are for when we go skiing.
  • The Coco Mats are used when the OEM Rubber Mats aren't (after the rainy season is over).

The OEM rubber mats were a gift from your dealer; 911s come with standard carpet mats (unless you spec otherwise).

You should be able to order rubber or carpet mats from your dealer

You can even order Custom Leather mats, the same as on the Configurator

Cool. I'll send a thank you note to the dealer. And do you know if you can order the same mats that come with the GTS interior? I saw one with GTS on it on suncoast, but it didn't look the same as the one's that came with the car (from what I could tell).

I would ask your dealer if they can order them.

Interestingly, I use both.

During standard time, I use the rubber mats. Once daylight savings time hits I use the carpeted ones.

I switch them in each of my cars twice a year.

I use X1 mats. I have the black racetex/black leather with Carmine red stitching GTS interior. So I got the single layer black with diamond stitch pattern in red. The mats are great, They completely cover the footwells on both sides. They are made out of synthetic leather (fancy name for what we Gen Xer's call vinyl). I love the way they look and the carpet is completely protected from spills, dirt, etc...

Do you have a photo of how they look with the GTS interior?
