I believe it was the Aton. The base was just too large. We already had the URBN for another car and it was easier to use and made the front seat a little more usable. We used the URBN for multiple cars, it was super easy to swap. Didn’t make sense to have multiple infant car seats. Especially more in retrospect since you only keep it for a few months.
I would def recommend a single baseless infant seat then move into the real car seats at 6 months.
The plus to the URBN combo is it came with the small stroller which fit perfectly in the frunk.
Thanks i tried today the URBN, and the very special thing about it is that it has isofix links without the need for a base, so it snaps in, vs having to attach a seatbelt for the others.
But for the size of the seat it looked exactly the same size more or less as the Cybex Cloud G which i am considering.
with the URBN, were you able to pull the back of the front seat all the way to the back until it clicks? I wasn’t, with any seat i am trying, maybe i am doing something wrong. (The front seat is electrically pushed all the way to the front, and still the back of that seat can;t go all the way back when the child seat is installed. It goes 99% but doesn’t click unless i really disrupt the car seat.
I highly recommend the Graco Slimfit3 LX. It’s the smallest one I managed to find. I have not used it rear facing, but when set forward facing, it is slim enough that the seat does not touch the transmission tunnel or the C pillar and there is plenty of legroom for the front seats.
i would think that if set rear facing, it wouldn’t fit behind an occupied front seat

Thanks!
I didn’t have any issue with either and seat going to place. May need to adjust height or angle of the seat. It’s all a geometry game. The Cybex and URBN have different angles on the back as well.
Anymore other recs for car seats for rear seat of 992?
Daughter is 3 and weighs 27 lbs so boosters are out for now.
Currently using Maxi-Cosi Romi for daughter around the same. She’s floating at the 30lbs mark so now I’m ready to switch to the WayB Pico once it goes on sale.
Haven't gotten around to writing up a full post about my rear child seat research. Ended up with the Peg Perego Viaggio Flex 120 for the six year old and the WayB Pico for the three year old. My three year old isn't the biggest fan of the WayB Pico. Once she meets the weight requirements, will likely move on from the WayB Pico.
Removed the rear seatbacks to provide some more room. Makes more of a difference for the Peg Perego than the WayB Pico. Second link shows how much recline is available for the Peg Perego.
I like the look of your current mats but in the interest of trying to contain spills/crumbs, the mats in the photos are the ones below. They have raised ridges, and per your question, is made of a pretty thick/hard material. It's done a pretty good job protected the seats from creases, etc. I used these in my Rivian as well. The four blue lines are rubber, supposedly to better hold the carseats in place.

Do you know if the one offered by Porsche protects enough? If seems thick enough but i don’t what leaving a child seat there for hours per day for months wil do.
