So, when I was selecting wheels for my Carrera S due in March, my top two choices were the Carrera Classic and RS Spyder wheels.
I like both wheels very much, but I like the Carrera Classics more, and the fact that they appear easier to clean is a big bonus!
After finishing 18 pages of a thread (992 RS Spyder Wheels Thread) that is filled with good information and great pictures, I thought it would be grand to have a similar thread featuring the Carrera Classic wheels.
Okay, let’s discuss and show off the Carrera classic wheels on our 992 Porsche 911s!
I’ll have to start with my configurator 911 because my car is in Emden, Germany waiting for a boat ride!

I definitely wanted the classic wheels! I too am awaiting arrival. Mine’s on the boat en route to Baltimore, so the configurator image will have to do.
Based on the thread title, you’ll get two different wheels showing up.
On the 992.1, this similar wheel was called the Carrera Exclusive and is a forged wheel. The Carrera Classic wheel was the one shown by RatherJaded in post #6. On the 992.2, they offer a a wheel that looks like the one OP posted, but changed the name to Carrera Classic and is now a cast wheel.
As you can see, I also have the 992.1 Carrera Classic wheels as opposed to the Fuch like 992.1 wheels that were rebranded as Carrera Classics in the 992.2.
IMHO this is the best looking 992 generation wheel with the Spyders a very close second.
Bronze Carrera Classic wheels on Raven, a Sport Classic homage. I think the color is a bit too dark. Toying with the idea to change to something closer to Neodyme.
