New 992.2 GTS, spinning icon only.
Holding down the volume button for 20 sec doesn’t work
Two fingers in the top right corner no good
Phone isn’t the issue, turned it off and on , message shows it is recognized
Disconnecting the battery, don’t want to go there
Any other ideas?
It will most likely resolve itself. Had this happen on my 992.2 for an hour or two. Came back to the car a little bit later and it was good, no spinning wheel. Maybe an update not fully loading? Not sure.
It's trying to connect the PORSCHE systems in the cloud, and for some reason it's not able to make a connection. It will keep trying and eventually connect. I see that often is low cellular data network areas.
For future someone who sees this issue in their 992.2 911.
This happened yesterday to my 2026 Targa GTS. I even took it to the nearest dealer to have them looked at. They can’t do anything until I set a service appointment. 🙄
Left the dealership, decided to drive home and parked it in my garage. Turned the car on the next morning, still with the loading spin….
I decided to press the back button above the right ****. Dismisses the loading screen straight away…
I guess you just have press the back button whenever you see this loading spin screen? Saves me time on going back to the dealer to get this diagnosed.
