After a month of making my dealership jump through hoops porsche finally approved a new hybrid battery for my GTS. Looks like it will be at least another month of waiting for the new battery to arrive. I'm not sure how this counts in terms of reliability since this is all before I can even take delivery of the car!

TBD if major or minor at this point. Took delivery of a 26 Targa GTS on 11/28 ... 68 miles later received "Chassis Error" which knocked out PDCC and FAL. Took it in first time, and they said there was air in the system and bled it. All was good for the next few days and 150 miles and issue is now back again. Hoping it is just a bad sensor or calibratrion or software, and nothing serious with PDCC.

I had the same two errors on my 2026 Targa 4 GTS two months ago. The dealer investigated and told me these errors were caused by me turning off the car while FAL was deployed (I have PDCC),
I haven't made that same mistake since, and I have not received those errors again.

Thanks, that is exactly the error. Will see what they come back with and pass this on ... not sure I had done this but will certainly be more aware.
If I were Porsche, these numbers would be a serious concern. Look up what J.D.Power calls its PP100 numbers for each manufacturer. (Google is your friend) I know this group is a subset of a subset of the overall 992 market, but still . . . . .

Given that Porsche is paying for all the warranty repairs, I’m sure they are well aware and trying to improve.

Please try charging your battery, or ask the dealer to fully charge it. SO many fresh-delivery-errors like this are just from the batteries sitting for months. My Cayenne arrived with a 100% dead battery, stuck for hours in the delivery truck. When a tow truck was finally able to jump it, the first thing it did was throw a red "Chassis failure" error. Not a real error, just low voltage phantom errors. Topping up the battery with a charger (not just a maintainer) will stop a lot of phantom faults in the newer Porsches.
FAL and PDCC are both electrically operated by the 400v system in the new GTS, BTW. Might want to run your car in Sport+ mode for a while to fully charge the 400v as well. That's one that would be bad if it got too low.
8,000 miles on my GTS and a "low battery" warning recently on the +12v is the only error it's thrown... after only 3 days of not daily driving it! The computers in these cars are bloodsuckers, and a maintainer+charger will save you a lot of headaches.

For charging the 400v, if you are still avoiding sport+ because of break-in, you can also charge into the mid 90’s by generating more than you use with moderate acceleration and lots of coasting. Moderate throttle seems to use a lot of battery.
