Just installed a mirror tap connection for my Uniden R8 detector. Was that ever easy. Nice and clean too.

 

Installation looks awesome! How did you wire it? Did you have from your build the "Preparation for Porsche Dashcam" option?

I like it but I don’t like the suction cup. That said, I have an R7 and I’ve even looking at the R8 but don’t see any improvement in laser. I passed an LEO standing on the side of the road with 4 other motorcyclists flagging others over. He was pointing his ‘ device’ right at me. Had to be laser. My R7 ignored it. Laser maybe?

Blendmount is much cleaner and you do not have to deal with suction cup issues….

 

Dont mind the cup to be honest, its hidden away and very tight connection
