Very interesting. Apparently, parts for the hydraulic system are much cheaper than the ones used in the pneumatic FAL system that I had on my 991.1 GT3.

Rodents damaged lines on the pump/accumulator. The dealer told me that Porsche didn't sell the individual repair parts and they had to install a complete new unit. Since I hadn't actually seen the damage and since, fortunately, my insurance was footing the bill I didn't argue too much but MSRP on just the pump/accumulator unit was almost $10K. Yes, that's right...$10K.

I told them to return the original unit to me and, upon inspection, I determined that the single chewed line could easily be replaced. From the markings on the hose I was able to track down the original English source, ordered a section of the hose for about $30 including shipping and repaired the returned one myself. The car is gone but I still have the pump...if anyone is interested.
