Just installed these on my 992.1 GT3. Had these on my 991.1 3RS, and still have them on my BMW F83 M4. They do a lot of damage prevention on the rear hips. I also do double PPF on the rear. Entire rear quarter, then a small OEM style strip .
A bit expensive for what they are, but for the ease, it's worth it.
The rock chips over time on the inner paint is far worse. On GT cars with Cup2s it's a constant rock storm in the inner wheel well.
Can confirm.
This little hole in the GT3 wheel well lining…
Let thru about about a pound of rocks into the rear bumper in the first 800 miles…
So I duct taped it.
I have TLG guards on my other cars, as well as full PPF + an extra 10mil layer on the hips and rockers (had this 10 mil replaced recently on my GTS for $400 and it looks 90% better and prevented a ton of hip damage - highly recommended).
On the GT cars the vent out of the rear wheel well to the passes so many rocks onto the matte black rear lip that I almost want to seal them up. Or at least figure out how to put mesh in them.

My roads are relatively clean, but even then the I was getting little rocks stuck between the lower fender and upper fender that I had to pry out. The guards help.
While I love GT cars, they are not designed with practical paint protection in mind, especially the RS products.
New winner for largest rock lodged in the GT3 vents. It stuck in the lowest, smallest, V-shaped opening. So you can just imagine the # and size of rocks the tires fire thru the bigger openings at the poor folks behind us.
Someone like @RGS should sell a mesh insert to prevent this. Attachment in the shaped vent could be tough though.
