Introducing The Flip Cupholder: Engineered and Designed for 992's
i have the Tux Mats and it won’t work with mine either. You would need to print some points on base to stick into the carpet and design the arm to pivot into place forcing the points into the carpet with a “cam” movement as it locks in the vertical plane. The flip base might have to move out a bit to clean the tux mat side. The Tux Mat high sides will keep it in place but without the “cam” action to lock it in it would slide.
Happy to take some measurements and share if needed / interested.

Yes, it's the thickness of the mat. The bound edge of the mat is too thick for the foot insert. Happy to help however I can!

Right now it's just known to work with the OEM mats. We are working on something that might broaden that but nothing to announce anytime soon. Thanks!

No, sorry to say. It’s an intriguing opportunity, but we aren’t ready for the amount of homework we think we would need to do. There are so many different models to account for etc.

Impressive! I’m not sure everyone is comfortable cutting their mats but this is true resourcefulness. The pictures will also really help us when we tackle an all-weather mat solution. There are a few other things in the pipeline ahead of that, unfortunately, and this really looks great. Well done!
Any updates on the all weather mat option?

We are at a crossroads on the all-weather mats. We are trying to make something work with more mats like cocomats but failing that we will just have to go with a dedicated all-weather design.
We will have something out testing in the wild in a couple weeks and that will decide some things.
