Question What is this car worth?

I have a 992.2 Targa 4 GTS I bought in April. Got full PPF, ceramic, wheel/tire package as add ones. Paid ~$240k OTD. Now it has about 6700 miles and I need to sell it since I'm leaving the country for work and it will just sit around. What is a fair value for this? Mods, please let me know and delete if this is not allowed. This is not a posting to sell the car, just looking to see what kind of price I should expect on the secondary market since I can't really find any 992.2 GTS for sale (too new, I assume). Here is my build sheet laid out by chatgpt.

I suspect a dealer would try to sell it at MSRP ($215,185) so they would offer you 85-90% of MSRP — $182,900 to $193,666.
I would suggest calling some dealers to get wholesale/trade-in price.
You could then set your selling price accordingly, assuming you want to sell it yourself.

RECENT 992.2 TRADE IN EXAMPLE
I traded in my 2025 911 C2 Cabriolet ($3,125 miles) to the Porsche Dealer:
-- Original MSRP = $166,395
-- Trade-In Value Given = $153,000

The dealership originally listed the car for sale at MSRP ($166,395) for a month but did not sell at that price.
They have lowered the price to $161,394:

If you have the time, put it on BAT but I agree that a dealer may be your best bet to get a fair price, quickly.

18 of them on CarGurus

Agreed that a dealer would probably offer you something a little below $200k on trade/buy, but it would be the fastest route.
Hopefully, you don’t have a note/loan on the car, because you will be taking a bath here — PPF, etc is worth nothing in this context.

I know this isn't what you asked... but if you held on to it somehow for a decade, a then-10-year-old car 992.2 Targa with 6700 miles might fetch quite a pretty penny.

What city is the car in?

a pretariff/ pre price increase car should increase inherent value as the 2026 same vehicle MSRP will be substantially higher

Setting a "value" on such a new car is difficult. Even "Blackbook" valuations look to be about 10% high since they compile their data from new and used sales plus auction wholesale data.

Here is todays Blackbook Valuation for your car...

I seriously doubt a dealer will offer you the "rough" $232K trade-in, unless you were buying a GT or Turbo S. More than likely if trading in, the offer would be around your original $215K purchase price.

If you are selling it outside of the trade in option, you could probably ask and get a little more, but even at this price level there is serious competition from new and used around the $240K number.

Blackbook has the average retail value at $278K, which looks to be high.

On Porsche Finder there are 21 new vehicles posted with a PTS priced at $272K, which is the highest new price posted... the remaining 20 New Targa 4GTS posted are priced from $211K to $252K.

The 16 used models on Porsche Finder are priced from $245K to a high of $277K.
