Default Help w a 992.2 GTS Build

Hi, I am building out a GTS in Oak Green Metallic with satin black centerlock wheels.

Here is how it is optioned so far:Exterior Color: Oak Green Metallic Neo

Wheels: 20"/21" Carrera GTS Wheels in Satin Black

Leather in Black with Chalk Stitching

Adaptive Sport Seats Plus (18-way) with Memory Package

Rear Seats

Ventilated Seats (Front)

SportDesign Side Skirts

Exclusive Design Fuel Cap

Electric Slide/Tilt Sunroof in Glass

HD-Matrix Design LED Headlights in Black

Under Door Puddle Light Projectors

Windshield with Grey Top Tint

930 Leather Package

Interior Trim Inlays in Matte Carbon Fiber and Trim in Black

Porsche Crest on Headrests (Front)

Heated GT Sport Steering Wheel in Leather with Trim in Matte Carbon Fiber

Steering Column Casing in Leather i.c.w. Memory Package

Power Steering Plus

Front Axle Lift System

Extended Range Fuel Tank (22.1 gal.)

8-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK)

Surround View with Active Parking Support

Lane Change Assist (LCA)

Comfort Access

HomeLink®

BOSE® Surround Sound System

Wanted some input on three key items:
1) Standard Door sills vs. Matte CF Illuminated
2) Standard 911 Carrera GTS badging vs. debadging vs. requesting them to just do "GTS"
3) Center Console Lid with Model Designation

Thanks

1. I like the illuminated sills, have them on my 22 GTS and am ordering them on my 26 GTS. Rather pricey for what they are but so are almost all Porsche options.
2. They can easily be removed and will be if you are doing PPF. Decide then if you want them back. I chose not to.
3. I’ve not seen this in person but it looks fine in the pics I have seen. Your car, do it.
Isn’t that three items?😀

1. I did not do on mine so have no real opinion on it.
2. I wasn't aware they could simply do "GTS" alone on the bumper. Between the options, I did not like the simple "911" and did not like a bumper with nothing on it, so I went with the full badge in the car external color, which I like. But it's just a personal preference.
3. I have this. I have the 990 package with porsche crest on headrest, and GTS on the internal armrest and I actually really like it.

ha yes, nice catch! Thanks for the input. How do you think the illuminated sills compare to the standard ones? its hard to find photos of what they look like out of the box.

Do you happen to have a photo of what the standard ones look like? its hard to find any online.
Im not sure if they can do the GTS alone on the bumper, but hey its Porsche so doesnt hurt to ask. I agree with you on the 911, seems kind of small and basic.

What do you mean by "standard ones"? If I have it, I can share a picture.

I mean the ones that come as standard on the car (if you did not opt for the illuminated ones)

The 3d configurator shows the illuminated sills. Hit the open door icon on the exterior view. Note: no 3d viewer if using an iPad .

my car for reference but the config will capture your spec as well.

I’ll take a picture later and send to you. I have never once noticed it either way.

I like the sleek minimalist approach

my dealer will remove the t-hybrid decal prior to delivery

good luck, no such thing as a bad choice

I also replaced the t-hybrid decal on teh side with GTS and it was well worth it. "t-hybrid" is too long for the door.

that’s a great build! Very close to what I’m getting. You’ve got great taste! I’m actually doing the same w the hybrid decal swapped for the GTS. I think I’m going to keep the badge on the back. I think it looks a little naked with out it but stealth and clean is not a bad way to go

Default Door-Sill Guards

My build just froze today... 10 days early. Door-Sill Guards in Matte Carbon Fiber, Illuminated. A little spark of joy every time I step in or out. My machine says hello and goodbye in style.

Would make an awesome birthday gift on October 14th… but I’m not holding my breath!

FYI, If you upgrade to the bespoke carbon sills, the color you choose isn't just the light color, the text/logo is that color. I went with all blue color accents in mine:
