Default Can the diamond button be programed to switch the PDK into manual mode?

I looked at the options for the diamond button but didn't see anything that looked like it could be programed to mimic the M button. Can that be done? Tks!

I'm assuming the 10 seconds after actuating the paddles is not enough. In which case, I would imagine Porsche would expect you to hit the M button before you need it.

If it’s not on the menu then it’s safe to say No!
Its easy enough to hit the M button and I assume that if you accidentally hit the P button the car won’t go into Park unless you're at a standstill.
Anyone here know at what speed the P button is locked out?

I know that Ebrake can be pulled at 100 mph and it progressively engages (unless cars at PECLA are specifically coded), next time I am there I will smash the P on front stretch for scientific purposes.

The P button won’t engage at any speed that you’d normally want to hit M. Ask me how I know…

Pro tip: A PDK 992 in sport plus M mode is a true party trick. Sharp throttle, loud exhaust, firm suspension and engine mounts, and pulling paddles to heighten engagement. For me it’s ~80% of an MT experience, but with the huge upside of full automatic in traffic when needed. Don’t miss it.

That’s what I did on my test drive that convinced me to buy it, I also did the over boost button on the selector wheel,
