@thewiseowl is the rear power adapter the same as the one in the front? also, do you have a picture or video that identifies which pillars we need to remove and how?

The rear connector is different from the front. If you go through this thread you will find info about removing the overhead console and rear trim.

drivers side rear pillar (right rear) — picture #1
on my 992 3RS from what I recall the connectors were the same front and back.

pull the rear (bottom of rear glass)
The pull the driver side right rear pillar (right to the rear glass) … looking from inside the car

careful for the clips and the orange looking string that’s attached to the pillar …
