Dashcam option: is it worth it?

The U3000 is an excellent option. I’d choose it over the Blackvue. I always planned on getting the Porsche OEM dash cam, but once I started really looking into it I found I could something much better for the same price or a little more. Personally, I’m leaning towards Viofo A329S. The U3000 is a close second. The nice thing about the Viofo is the fisheye cabin camera gives good side views of the car.
What do you think of the horrible app reviews? That’s the big concern I have lol.

@thewiseowl is the rear power adapter the same as the one in the front? also, do you have a picture or video that identifies which pillars we need to remove and how?

on my 992 3RS from what I recall the connectors were the same front and back.
pull the rear (bottom of rear glass)
The pull the driver side right rear pillar (right to the rear glass) … looking from inside the car
careful for the clips and the orange looking string that’s attached to the pillar …
