Default New Build Tracking- Porsche App

I submitted my build and it is completely different than the build that populates on my Porsche app. Talked to the dealer and the commission number is the same and the build is the same model...GTS 4...however totally different color and options. Dealer says app had glitches last week. A bit concerned, because the app says changes are now frozen...Any thoughts or analogs experienced like this scenario? I guess I will trust the dealer as he shared his build mirrors what I submitted. TIA!

As long as they have submitted what you’ve built and you’ve seen the build sheet with the commission number you’ll be fine. I made changes to my build a couple times and the latest revision took over a week for the app to update and show the changes. Are you looking at just the picture of the car or the Order Information screen that shows all the options in the app?

I would stay on this. My app has updated almost instantly when the dealer inputted my changes, on the last 3 cars I have ordered. There have been cases when the app doesn't properly display a PTS color or something but outside of that if the other specs are off, something is up. I would have your dealer send you a pdf of your build sheet (be sure it's dated recently) and then maybe delete the car from the app and re add it with your commission number. If its still wrong, I would really push them on their end to verify. Cars have shown up incorrect.

Thanks for the input. I have a build sheet that the dealer had me sign. I then got an invitation email for the Porsche app to track my build. The commission number and model matches the build sheet from the dealer. However, the options and color in the app do not match. I asked the dealer and they said that there was a glitch in the app last week. Ultimately the Sales Manager called me and we again went over the build and shared the build I agreed to was what he is seeing on his side...weird...

You would think as buttoned up as Porsche is, that this wouldn't happen.

I had the case where the options listed on the app did not include the black/limestone seats I chose. My SA insisted the build sheet he submitted includes them and said not to worry. I was relieved to see the side shot of my build as it was going through the line because it had a limestone colored glove box. BUT…that same shot showed the bulge of a center clock above the dash when I didn’t order it.
