Default 992.2 Targa GTS Winter wheel options

I'm looking for recommendations on the winter tires and wheels for my 992.2 GTS 5-Bolt.
Winter Rims: Will the smaller 992.1 Carrera 19"/ 20" wheels fit the newer 992.2 GTS? Will the smaller rims clear the newer GTS brakes?
It looks like there are relatively few options for 20"/21" winter tires.
Are most running the Michelin Pilot Alpin 5?
I don't see a Pirelli 245/35/21option for the front tires. Up or down a size?

Thank you,

19/20s will not work with the larger brake Calipers.

You will need to go 20/21. Check sun coast and others the often have a sale in the summer months.

I run continental winters on mine bought them from suncoast during a sale. I could go 19/20s as I have the 992.1 4s targa. Have been really happy with the contis.

you can also go custom and put your choice of winters on them.

I saw sets of 992.1 winter wheel sets but the offsets were different and they don't fit.

I can't stomach paying 10k for OEM Winter RIMs. I'd buy a winter beater for that!

OEM winter sets depending on which rims you get (I recommend the standard vs Spyder etc) since these are going to see harsher weather, etc.

- 19/20s are around $4,500
- 20/21s are around $7,200

That is wheels and tires both.

The good news is you can recoup at least 50% if you decide to sell later.

I sold my 991 set when I got my first 992 (991 was not staggered) and got 70% of my money back. My tires still had about 70% tread left.

ps. I bought my first 992 OEM 19/20 set for $3400. The price has went up for sure. But not 10k for a set and you can likely get aftermarket wheels much less than OEM.

FWIW, I am searching for 20/21s as my car is a 992.2 C2S (larger brakes).

his is what I am seeing for 992.2 https://shop.porschedowntowntoronto....nthracite-gray

The offsets are different than the 992.1 referenced here https://shop.porschedowntowntoronto....ck-satin-gloss
I've found used sets, but I have not confirmed they will fit my 992.2
