the only manual control you get from a controller on a .2 is to have the valves open when it’s warming. Or if you don’t have pse (all S and gts come standard with this). Don’t have a .2? I do and I bought a controller and returned it as it was useless outside of the warming period. I have real world experience. It seems you do not. You are outside your lane on this one friend. I’ve owned two .1’s and now a .2. When the car is warm. The valves stay open 100%. At an idle. The valves are not the same as the .1
I also have a .2 gts. However my experience is quite different with yours. The valve does not stay at 100% when car is warm and in sport or sport plus mode in my case. The car is quiet under low Rpms. I can feel the valve fully open after around 4000rpms. It's pretty easy to notice for me since I have a soul downpipe installed. I'm a bit confused here. is there any other .2 gts owners have their valve 100% open when in sports mode?

Sonic on a side note how do you like the down pipe- any issues with CEL….service dept at Porsche etc

how much louder is it compare to stock? I’m thinking of doing catless downpipe from jcr, I’m used to rs with full exhaust loud so I don’t mind the volume, nor the catless smell.

I installed the downpipe about a week. had no issue with the CEL. I'm not satisfied with the sound on the GTS yet, since I had a soul competiton exhaust with no cat on my previous 992.1 2s. That thing was loud and I loved it. So I purchased the SST valve controller just to check hows the combination works. Will update after I have it installed.
I would say around 60% at least to ppl havent tried loud exhaust. But for me, I think the volume on downshifts and cruising low rpms are not enough. So I purchased a vavle controller to see if that helps. catless downpipe definitely will be a better sound choice if you dont care bout CEL or drones.
