The 992.2 ecu hasn't been cracked yet, so you will have to wait. The good news is the .2 base / T gets the .1 GTS turbos and should make a lot of power with a tune.
Assume anything that could logically be connected to the tune would not be repaired under warranty. If your window regulator stops working you are fine, but if the engine throws a rod you are SOL.

Got a T coming in shortly and saw a video about a Stage 1 Tune that adds about 100hp anybody have experience in this? does it void the warranty?
thks all for your help!
Yes, it will if you have some sort of power train failure. The failure is highly likely to be blamed on the SW.
Per a Porsche tech ⬇️ FYI, I am just a messenger. They (PCNA/PAG) can detect software changes and since every car gets a VAL first thing when it enters the shop they know almost instantly, and maybe even over the air?
Flashing the ECU does not automatically void the warranty, the onus of the burden is on Porsche to prove the tune caused the failure otherwise the warranty’s provisions cover the warranted defect/failure. That is my understanding of how it works and as an attorney in NY, it would be my manner of proceeding. I flashed my car with a Softronic software tune and could not be happier.

IIRC, there was a post recently that linked to information that TechArt had come up with a tune for the base 992.2 that was good for around 100HP.
