Build config advice - 2026 GTS
I'm starting to feel the same way. Black and Cognac under a GT Silver car should be a classic and beautiful combo. I can't think of any reason not to spec it that way.
My sales associate got me to add this as well- looks sharp
BTW, do not let an SA deter you from ordering what you ultimately want. I made this mistake on my last order and regret it as I wanted the Exclusive Manufaktur leather sun visors and leather wrapped steering column. I was talked out of it.

What was the SA’s argument against both of those?
“Waste of money, no one notices them, no ROI, and they will not make or break a sale at resell.” Note, my SA has been with Porsche for decades so I took him for his word.
In the end I do greatly appreciate his candor, but given that I have the heritage package I feel both items would have worked really well with it.

Nice classic spec.
If you like the GT3 side skirts, I would order them and install post delivery for the same cost as the aero skirts. Mine are sitting in the garage, and the gt-silver spec looks great with the GT3 side skirts to match the black on the front of the GTS.

My SA did talk me into getting the "smoking package" even though I don't smoke, because it was free (part of Germany's get America Smoking Again campaign) and you can "keep it on your desk and use it for change or something". I was actually more concerned that that line item on the window sticker might make some people think a smoker owned the car and it might smell. I know I would. But I followed my SA's advice...
Kids, don't start smoking. If you do start, don't smoke in your Porsche! Or wear your clothes in it.
This thing is useless even as a coin holder. Don't add it even for free folks!
PS - it's never too late to have those leather wrapped after-market! https://exclusiveoption.com/

I've made a few config changes. Based on your input, I'm moving to the Cognac interior and going back to centerlock wheels. Thanks, I appreciate your help on this.

Question: How accurate is the 'Green Light for Production' date in the app, and does that reflect the lock-in of the config? I'm not sure I understand this.
