What is everyone's experience with wind buffeting? I have no first hand experience with Cabs or Targas, but I've heard many say wind buffeting on the Targa can ruin the experience. Seems odd that Porsche wouldn't engineer a solution, so wanted to know what owners felt.

No issues in the cab. And actually, with the windscreen and windows up, I can have phone calls at highway speeds. The other person doesn’t even know my top is down.

I sold my Targa GTS for a 718 Spyder than sold that for my 992 Cab - no regrets but the Targa was beautiful. Much more buffeting in the Targa than the others though, and at times in the Cab there is not much airflow at all (windows & deflector up).

I went from 718 Spyder to targa 4S, and now 992 cab and I couldn’t agree more with your assessment.
Great drive out yesterday, roads to myself. Will always take a Cab as a daily driver, nice and snug in the winter, in the summer don’t think there is a better all rounder.
not a concern at all….with top down and windows down great cruising. With windows up and wind screen up very little wind at all…can talk on the phone easily
This thread is getting me even more excited for mine to arrive in the next couple of weeks (GTS black/black). Can't wait for that first top-down cruise through the back roads of the TX Hill Country...after getting a full PPF, of course.
