Deteriorating gasket around the Windshield

Just stumbled on this thread. I experienced this issue ON MY 2018 TARGA. Years later and Mother Porsche still hasn’t figured it out?
In my case at the time the oozing started I was under warranty and the dealer had the windshield replaced. I have nothing to offer those who are experiencing the issue today other than my condolences.

Probably the same supplier throughout the generations.
The really annoying part is I missed it earlier and wiped the glass, not seeing the smear and the goop/adhesive stained the paint. Ceramic coat, wax, etc., didn’t prevent it.
