those of you that are planning on passing if the tariff situation is passed along to you, what is your plan B? possibly a CPO 992, or another brand? just curious...

Really depends on what I get from my Cayman GTS 4.0. If I can get enough to offset a decent chunk of the tariff, then I'll go through with my order. If not, I'll keep my Cayman GTS 4.0

Great question. I might pay a small tariff, say up to 5% above the previous 2.5%. Beyond that, I walk away.
Plan B would be to spend the money on real estate.

Tough one. I've been saving my money for a 911. With the idea that the tariff stuff eventually ends I'd probably keep my money to put towards a 911 as originally planned. Otherwise I could buy something else that would likely be more expensive like an Aston, but then have it depreciate a lot unless I got a used one. Although I'll really miss the idea of driving a car through the summer months and only having my X5, nice of an SUV as it is.

Plan B would be looking at a CPO...although instead of an S I may look at a Turbo or Targa 4S ....since both would be in the price range of the S with a tariff
I just got an update from my dealer. For reference, my car left Emden on 4/2 for east coast. The dealer said there is a 90 hold on tariffs and i should be all clear on my car at this point. Expected delivery is 4/28.

Pinged my SA today on "any update on the tariffs"?
Response is "You should be price protected as Porsche indicated tariffs would not increase price to customer who ordered a car prior to a March allocation". The 992.2 4GTS I ordered is on a boat scheduled to arrive in Northern California beginning of May. Finished manufacturing in late Feb.
I asked for proof in writing. The response is proof will be on the window sticker.

I'd want a little better proof than waiting for that.

Doesn't matter if it's in writing. If something changes (i.e. more tariffs) Porsche could change their plan. Nothing is guaranteed until the vehicle completes import and I receive the final price. California law allows either party to walk out of the deal.
This however is first encouraging news I have seen on tariffs for my order, and correlates to others on the tariff thread with a higher probability of deletion.

My SA just texted me the same. My 911s was ordered in February and is in production now.
